In June of 2019, former NCATC Board of Directors member Marsha Danielson earned her Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan.
Danielson is a subject matter expert in Credit for Prior Learning/Prior Learning Assessment. She has published a guide for community colleges that want to build a successful infrastructure for implementing a formal CPL program. Click below to get your free copy of this practical guide.
Early in 2019, NCATC Past-President Scott Murakami was appointed to lead the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations in Hawaii, working with Governor David Ige.
Recently, Governor Ige was invited by President Trump to a lunch meeting with governors from 8 states to discuss what's working in workforce development.
