You may have never heard of Modine, but for more than 100 years, Modine has provided the commercial, industrial, and vehicular markets with trusted systems and solutions to manage heating and cooling and improve air quality while conserving natural resources. One aspect of this testing includes wind tunnels that have the capability to simulate climatic conditions that can raise or lower the temperature as needed in minutes, from the extremes of the North Pole to the hottest desert conditions. We can also control the humidity, airflow speed, and vehicle speed.   

For more than 60 years, SC Johnson’s largest global manufacturing facility has operated right in our headquarters community, in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin.

Today, the facility, called “Waxdale,” is the birthplace of millions of trusted household products every year including brands such as Glade®, Windex®, Pledge®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Shout®, Raid® and OFF!®. The buildings at Waxdale cover 2.2 million square feet and the facility’s main aisle is three quarters of a mile long from north to south.
