Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) – Chair: Becky Epps; Co-Chair, Linda Head
The MARCOM Committee also supports the NCATC Executive Director and Operations Manager in the design, development and dissemination of marketing content and materials, effective Constant Contact content / campaigns and in generating, coordinating, and designing content for the quarterly NCATC newsletters, Member Drop-Ins, and Social Media support.
Membership (MEMBERS)- Chair: Alicia Udhe; Co-Chair, Grant Matthews
The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting and retaining an engaged and informed membership. The Committee supports the NCATC Chair of Marketing and Communications Committee in guiding the Coalition’s implementation of the Strategic Pillars, Member Services and Marketing Plans. This includes membership recruitment and retention initiatives and social media ideas.
Strategic Partners (SP) – Chairs: Greg Jones; Co-Chair, Tony Oran
Our success as Workforce Development and Career & Technical Education practitioners relies on collaboration within the entire workforce ecosystem. Business & Industry organizations, government, community-based organizations, associations and philanthropy all play a role in the delivery of successful workforce and CTE training programs. The Strategic Partners Committee focuses on engaging with and connecting these varied sectors to the Strategic Pillars of NCATC and our membership.
Annual Conference (CONF)– Chair: Scott Lucas; Co-Chair, Matt Janisin
The purpose of the Annual Conference Committee is to oversee the planning, implementation, and review of the annual conferences; (2) provide programmatic guidance, direction and selection of sessions and speakers; (3) assist in the review and awarding of the annual Innovation Award; (4) promote collaborations with the Marketing committee to deliver excellent programming to members; (5) continually seek and develop programs to benefit the membership.
Governance/Executive (GOVERN)– Chair: Amanda Sizemore; Co-Chair, Craig Lamb
The Governance Committee is responsible for the health and functioning of the board. The Committee is responsible for: recruiting new Board nominations and members; developing and conducting New Board Member Orientation; developing a tool to evaluate the effectiveness of the board; updating the Executive Director/CEO's and Operations Manager’s job description; updating the job descriptions for board members; and formally evaluating the Executive Director/CEO and Operations Manager annual performance reviews. Leading the annual nominations and selection of the NCATC Innovation Award.
Government Relations (GR_POLICY)– Chair, Alicia Udhe, Bismarck State College (ND)
The Government Relations Committee coordinates the National Coalition of Advanced Technology Centers involvement in workforce education policy. This includes supporting the American Association of Community Colleges' legislative agenda, creating informational materials for the NCATC website, social media and newsletters, and helping NCATC members become effective advocates for workforce education policies and initiatives within their communities.
